Position Overview: As a Forums and Discord Moderator at Cyprus Games, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and constructive online environment for our community. You will be responsible for ensuring that our forums and Discord server are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable spaces for all players. This role requires a keen understanding of community dynamics, effective communication skills, and a commitment to upholding community guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:
   • Monitor forums and Discord channels to facilitate positive and engaging discussions among community members.
   • Foster a sense of community by actively participating in conversations, answering questions, and providing support.
2. Moderation:
   • Enforce community guidelines and policies to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.
   • Address and resolve conflicts or disputes among community members in a diplomatic manner.
3. Content Moderation:
   • Review and moderate user-generated content, including posts, comments, and media, to ensure they comply with community standards.
   • Identify and address inappropriate or harmful content promptly.
4. Event Support:
   • Assist in organizing and moderating community events, game launches, and live streams on forums and Discord.
   • Collaborate with community managers to promote engagement and participation in events.
5. Feedback and Reporting:
   • Provide regular reports on community sentiment, common issues, and suggestions to the community management team.
   • Act as a liaison between the community and internal teams, conveying valuable feedback and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in community moderation, preferably in gaming or online communities.
• Familiarity with forums, Discord, and other community platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Passion for gaming and a genuine interest in fostering positive community experiences.
