Position Overview: As a QA Tester at Cyprus Games, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality standards of our gaming products. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting defects, as well as working closely with the development team to deliver polished and bug-free games to our players.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Execution:
   • Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and features.
   • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for various game components.
   • Execute test cases to identify and document defects, ensuring a thorough evaluation of gameplay, functionality, and performance.
2. Defect Reporting and Documentation:
   • Clearly and concisely document identified defects, providing detailed steps to reproduce issues.
   • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate and timely resolution of reported defects.
   • Maintain detailed records of testing activities and results.
3. Regression Testing:
   • Conduct thorough regression testing to verify that reported issues have been successfully resolved.
   • Identify potential regression risks and communicate them to the development team.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure a unified approach to quality assurance.
   • Communicate effectively with team members to provide status updates, highlight potential risks, and contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment.
5. Performance and Compatibility Testing:
   • Conduct performance testing to assess the game’s stability and responsiveness under different conditions.
   • Test the game across various platforms and devices to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a QA Tester in the gaming industry is highly desirable but not required.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Knowledge of gaming platforms, consoles, and mobile devices.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
